| Q: Aren't ex-police vehicles a greater mechanical risk? |
| A: No! These vehicles are maintained stringently by the state and local agencies that purchase them. Although emergency vehicles aren't 'babied', they undergo maintenance you probably never do as diligently on your regular vehicle, including timely oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations and more. These cars also include heavy duty components an average vehicle just doesn't have (see our specifications page). This means you're buying a more durable vehicle with a solid maintenance record...but only after we've ensured it meets our standards! |
| Q: What makes your vehicles different? |
| A: We start with quality cars..no high mileage or junk vehicles. Most of our cars come from Southern climates, where rust is not an issue. From there, each car is thoroughly inspected by a certified mechanic. Any item needing attention, from tires to steering wheel, is checked and replaced or refurbished if necessary. Once the mechanical inspection is complete, a full detailing, inside and out, gets the car ready for you! |
| Q: How many cars do you have in inventory? |
| A: We usually have many vehicles on hand but please call for specifics. |
| Q: What types of options do these cars have? |
| A: Most vehicles have a standard 'DSO' package. This usually includes extras such as 4 wheel disc brakes, heavy duty suspension, electrical, and cooling, PW, PDB, PDL, cruise control, certified instruments, silicone hoses and much more. These options vary by model and year, please see our specifications page for more detail. |
| Q: I am looking for a certain color combo and options package..can you special order this for me? |
| A: Due to our widespread purchasing network, we can accommodate many different requests pertaining to color, model, year, mileage, price, etc. Please call us at 727-536-COPS Mon-Fri, 9-6 PM EST or use our online request form. |
